Try Naturopathy… ” I have cancer now what?

Well… according to the latest projections for cancer in the next decade you have about a 1 in 3 chance of hearing your doctor say “YOU have cancer?”

So how you handle the news is dependent on what you do before that time.
The fact that you are reading this suggests you have some interest and or concern. I suggest that you prepare as if you were preparing for a hurricane , tsunami, tornado or any natural disaster.

Now I do not mean you board windows and move to higher ground.

I mean decide what you will do before hand.

Find an oncologist that fits your personality and needs as he will be the lead of any effort you make to combat cancer. He is a source of all the traditional information on radiation, chemotherapy and or surgery. There is alot. Make sure he or she knows the latest.

Explore alternatives and determine if any fit your personality and budget.

If you decide on using alternatives you still need an oncologist.. even more so in many cases as he or she can provide confirmation that your path is working……..

If you are using complementary options you need to know those that your oncologist will support and those he will not.

If you are already interested in a particular alternative cancer treatment, keep reading to understand the pros and cons of the treatment selection method you used. You may decide that you want to select an additional treatment using a different selection method. This is the key to multiple treatment selection.

Consider these facts about alternative cancer treatments:

There are many viable alternative cancer treatments.
Your cancer type does not help in treatment selection.
Most alternative cancer treatments only work on the minority of the people who try it.

Find those who have actually been successful…. interview them and ask questions. Those who have won are very open to help you as they frequently find great comfort in helping others.

Alternatives are not covered by insurance. Be prepared to cover the costs or do not begin.

Decide how hard you are willing to fight?
Decide how much you wish to continue your life’s journey?
Decide if the effort and pain is worth the possible result?
Consider Clinical trials?

Most of all discuss these same issues with your family.

Cancer is not a death sentence but any treatment has odds that are not going to be in your favor. Be realistic but optomistic
